Zola is not really up for adoption as he has some issues. But. If we could find him the right home that would be amazing. He's around 12 now. Good Zola is fun, affectionate, very playful, loves to be fussed. Bad Zola is like a switch, growly, snarling and you have to leave his kennel. I can go in sit on the floor with him he climbs all over me, we have loads of cuddles and I play a bit of ball with him. But every now and again he sees red, you do get a warning, but it's quick. The perfect home for him would be.... a child free, dog free, cat free with access to a garden. He just wants to be loved, but not spoilt, we think that's where it all went wrong with him :(
Ronnie is a collie type, a very sweet girl. She would be best as an only pet as she can be protective around food. She enjoys going out for walks and loves to be around people, she would make a lovely companion.
Ashworth is a beautiful boy who loves attention and cuddles. He is deaf so we are looking for somebody with patience to carry on with his training. He can have episodes of over excitement so an experienced home is essential and preferably male only. He is good with other dogs with careful introductions.
Freida originally came from Romania, the day after she was taken from the shelter all the dogs there were killed, so she had a lucky escape. Freida is not good with other dogs, although she does take a shine to the old male! She is however very good with cats and will ignore them. Once Freida gets to know you she is very loyal and loving. Her perfect home would be with a single lady who enjoys a walk a day but with few visitors, and no children visiting. Freida lived on the streets in Romania and was not treated well so she will try to protect herself if she thinks she is being threatened. But, she is the most cheeky, affectionate girl with the people she trusts, and that bond is amazing.
Bella is an 8yr old terrier mix, a very loving and submissive girl who has just been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. She loves her walks though they have to be shorter now due to her condition and is very scent oriented. She's very well trained and will do anything for treats or a throw of a ball. She loves to be petted and hugged but then likes to chill out in her comfy bed or sofa. Her condition hasn't affected her, and she doesn't notice the injection if she's having her food. Bella is an amazing pet, great with everyone (can be a bit nervous of men or loud people sometimes) fully trained though can be a bit of a barker if left on her own.
Bernie is 8 years old. He was born in a Spanish pound and was there until he recently came to Mutts With Friends. He will need to be rehomed with his brother, Mike. They are quite nervous, Mike is more confident than Bernie, they are very sweet boys but have seen nothing of the outside world so are looking for a calm, patient home where they can blossom in their own time and discover the world.
Rocky is a 5 year old Great Dane cross with an American Bulldog. He can be excitable with other dogs when out walking but loves to play. He is very affectionate and would love to be with somebody who is around the majority of the time to give him cuddles. He has grown up with children, but due to his size we would rehome to a family with children 14 +. He is nervous of strangers but great when he gets to know them and he is only being rehomed due to present owners ill health. Rocky must be the only dog in the home, he craves attention and does not like to share! Please email email@example.com for an application form
Mike is the more confident out of the two brothers, Bernie is the quiet one. Both dogs are gentle and will blossom into very loyal companions. They will need to be rehomed together and to a home where they can receive the love and patience these two boys deserve. They were born in a Spanish pound and have been there ever since. They will need some training but once these boys realise they are loved and safe they will be amazing companions.
